Well I went to a
campfire and guess what, there was no fire due to the red flag alert. So we just went, ate food, ran around, talked, played games, and froze our asses off. I'm serious, it was freezing up in the mountains. Whoever decided to place the Youth Campsite on the side of a mountain was nuts. A) There is absolutely no cell phone signal there. B) It's the side of a mountain for crying out loud. C) Side of mountain, it's freezing and windy up there. D) People, especially the little kids who were there, can easily get lost up in the mountains. So yeah, having a campsite on the side of a mountain is not smart. I mean, even the tables are tilting down the mountain. Sitting at the tables makes you feel like you're going to start tumbling down the mountain. It's a bit uncomfortable and unnerving. Plus it was freezing up there. I was wearing leggings under my jeans, skirt, a t-shirt, tanktop, long sleeve thermal shirt, and a sweatshirt and it was still freezing. It was kinda awesome though. A bit funny too. This third grader named Ryan beat up these sixth graders who go to my school. Hilarious. Now those sixth graders are scared of Ryan. I mean, what type of sixth grader is afraid of an elementary school kid? A weak scaredy-cat one I guess. So overall I had a good time at the campfire that had no fire, but it was still freezing, on the side of a mountain, and there was no cell phone reception.
Still cold, much too cold,
